Post Care Instructions:

Microneedling

Your skin has entered a controlled repair process, how you care for it now directly impacts your results.

First 24 hours:

• Do not put anything on the skin

• Avoid sweating, heat, and sun exposure

First 72 hours:

• No exfoliants, retinoids, or active ingredients

• Use only recommended gentle, hydrating products

• Expect redness, warmth and possible tightness

Days 3–7:

• Light flaking or purging may occur

• Continue hydration

Additional notes:

• Always wear SPF 30+ daily

• Avoid picking or exfoliating flaking skin

Liquid Microneedling

Your skin may feel tight, dry, warm or “prickly” for the next several days. This is an expected part of the spicule treatment process.

For the next 5–7 days:

● Keep skincare simple and gentle: cleanser, moisturizer + SPF 30–50.

● Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, enzymes, benzoyl peroxide and other strong actives.

● Do not pick, peel, scrub or intentionally remove flaking skin.

● Avoid facial brushes, cleansing devices, gua sha and facial massage.

● Avoid excessive sun exposure and be diligent with SPF.

● For the first 24–48 hours, avoid heavy sweating, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and very hot showers.

● Avoid waxing or other facial treatments until your skin has fully returned to normal.

● Keep your hands off your face as much as possible and use a clean pillowcase.

What’s normal:

A prickly sensation when touching the skin, mild redness, tightness, dryness and light flaking may occur. The “spiky” feeling typically becomes less noticeable over the following days. Peeling is very possible.

Once your skin feels completely back to baseline, you can gradually return to your normal routine.

Chemical Peels

Your skin is undergoing accelerated cell turnover, do not interfere with the peeling process. You may or may not peel, this does not mean it didn’t work.

First 48 hours:

• Avoid heat, sweating, and sun exposure

• No exfoliation or active ingredients

• Keep routine gentle and hydrating

Days 2–7:

• Peeling or flaking may occur (varies by peel)

• Do not pick, peel, or manually exfoliate

• Focus on hydration and barrier repair

Always:

• Wear SPF 30+ daily

• Avoid direct sun exposure

Cryo Facials

Your skin may feel cool, calm and slightly flushed immediately after treatment. Most clients can return to their normal routine right away.

After your Cryo Facial:

  • Keep skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer.
  • Wear SPF 30–50 daily and minimize prolonged direct sun exposure.
  • Avoid excessive heat, saunas, steam rooms and very hot showers for the rest of the day.
  • Skip aggressive exfoliation, scrubs and facial devices for 24 hours.
  • If your skin feels sensitive, keep your routine simple and hold strong actives until it feels back to baseline.
  • Avoid picking or touching the skin unnecessarily.

What’s normal:

Temporary redness, mild sensitivity or a lingering cool sensation can occur and should resolve.

Your skin may continue to look calmer, brighter and less puffy as it settles after treatment.

Facials

Your skin just received a little extra love. Here’s how to care for it at home:

For the next 24–48 hours:

  • Keep your routine simple: gentle cleanser, moisturizer + SPF.
  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs + other strong actives unless your esthetician tells you otherwise.
  • Skip picking, squeezing or exfoliating your skin.
  • Avoid excessive heat, including saunas, steam rooms + very hot showers.
  • Hold off on intense workouts for the rest of the day if your skin feels warm or flushed.
  • Avoid prolonged direct sun exposure and wear SPF 30+ daily.
  • Give your skin a little time before introducing new products.

Mild redness, sensitivity or temporary dryness can be normal depending on your treatment.

Buccal Massage

Your face just did more work than it looks like.

For the next 24–48 hours:

  • Drink plenty of water to support hydration + lymphatic movement.
  • Mild facial or jaw tenderness can be normal, similar to how your body may feel after a massage.
  • Temporary puffiness or changes in facial fluid retention may occur as your tissues respond to the treatment.
  • Avoid aggressive facial massage, gua sha or other intensive facial treatments for 24–48 hours.
  • Keep movement gentle and consider a light walk to support circulation + lymphatic flow.
  • Avoid excessive heat, alcohol and anything that leaves you feeling dehydrated immediately after your session.
  • Continue your normal skincare routine unless your provider recommends otherwise.

After intraoral buccal massage:

Your jaw and inner cheek muscles may feel tender or fatigued. Give them time to rest and avoid excessive chewing or jaw tension if you’re feeling sore.

Results can continue to settle as tension releases and fluid moves through the tissues.

Pigment Freeze Treatment

The treated spot may temporarily look darker before it gets lighter. This is an expected part of the healing process.

After your treatment:

  • Keep the area clean, moisturized + protected with SPF 30–50.
  • Do not pick, scratch or peel the treated spot, even if it begins to flake or crust.
  • Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs and other strong actives directly over the area until fully healed.
  • Avoid waxing, aggressive exfoliation or other treatments over the area while it heals.
  • Minimize direct sun exposure and reapply SPF regularly. Sun protection is essential to prevent additional pigmentation.
  • Allow any darkened or crusted areas to shed naturally.

What’s normal:

Temporary redness, sensitivity, swelling or darkening of the treated pigment may occur. The spot may develop a dry, red, or crusted appearance before naturally shedding as the skin heals.

Pigment often changes gradually, and multiple treatments may be recommended depending on the depth and type of pigmentation.

Reiki

Hydrate well to support energetic and physical integration

• Allow time for rest and stillness if possible

• Avoid overstimulation immediately after (intense activity, stress)

You may feel deeply relaxed, emotional, or energized, this is a normal integration response.

Lash Lifts

First 24–48 hours:

• Keep lashes dry

• Avoid steam, sweat, and heat

• No mascara or eye makeup

After 48 hours:

• Avoid oil-based products near lashes

• Brush lashes daily to maintain shape

First 24–48 hours:

• Keep brows completely dry

• Avoid steam, sweat, and heat

• Do not apply makeup or skincare to brows

After 48 hours:

• Begin daily conditioning (oil or serum recommended)

• Brush brows into place as desired

Avoid strong exfoliants or actives around the brow area for several days.

Waxing

• Avoid touching or applying makeup to the area for 24 hours

• No heat, sweating, or sun exposure for 24 hours

• Avoid active skincare (acids, retinoids) around brows for 48 hours

• Apply soothing product if redness occurs

Mild redness is normal and should subside within a few hours.
